Inspire.Create.Challenge #089 – Colour Challenge1

Hello Everyone,

Welcome the Inspire.Create challenge. Design Team project for #089!

This time it’s a fun and bright colour challenge. The rest of the design team have made some wonderful samples as inspiration. You can see them here. Why not give it a go? We’d love to see your creations!

My card creature the Floating and Fluttering stamp set and dies from the January to June Mini catalogue.

It was so tempting to use florals for these colours, glad I changed my mind!

The use of a decorative mask for the background adds texture quickly and easily, especially with the blending brushes!

This design is very flexible and can be used for any occasion in just about any colour you want!

I hope you enjoyed this project.

You can see a full video tutorial here

The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

If your order is less than £150, use the Hostess Code F2QFV2PT when placing your order to get an extra gift from me!

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Thanks for stopping by today and happy Stampin’!

  1. I’m glad you changed your ‘Floating and Fluttering’ mind too! Here’s what I – mostly – typed under your You-Tube video :-
“Lovely colour combo Verity – well done for getting onto the ‘Inspire-Create’ Design Team – well deserved!
Two beautiful cards here – I love a bit of stencilling, blending and the polka dot ribbon that all go ‘Floating and Fluttering’ into my heart along with any number of butterflies! There’s now’t wrong with a bit of live crafting either – being too polished can be yuck-a-rooney – Milo’s (The Tweenies) aversion to a girly pink! 😉

Oh! by the way I love your OTT use of the polka-dot tulle ribbon! Because it’s retiring use it in excess – I would – except it wasn’t in this case! Just because it’s retired it doesn’t mean that you can’t still use it in future projects! Crafting is what it is – and, like life itself it can get really messy and a bit wonky at times – that’s why I LOVE IT! If everything stayed the same – all the time – life would be soooo dull!
