Beautiful World Gatefold Card

Hello Everyone,

Today’s card had a more masculine feel and features the Beautiful World bundle and coordinating designer series paper.

To make the gatefold card base, cut the card stock lengthways at 5-7/8 inches and trim down to 8-1/2 long.

Score at 2-1/8 on both ends of the cardstock, fold and burnish really well.

The left over pieces can be used to make the topper which can be sized as you want.

Cut the DSP at 5-3/4 inches, turn and cut pieces at 2, 4 and 2 inches. These will fit the front panels and inside.

See how I put the rest of the card together in my video tutorial…..

I added a white panel inside the card to write a message.

These papers are really pretty with the brass foil!

My original sample was made with the opposite side of the paper and Basic Black cardstock.

Simple Poppies

Hello Everyone,

Today I bring you poppies in commemoration of Armistice Day.

I kept it simple, without a sentiment, colouring the poppies with my Stampin’ Blends markers.

See how I made this card in my video tutorial….

I think the little ribbon detail really finished this design off.

I hope you enjoyed this project.
