Pootlers Blog Hop – New Catalogue 2019

Hello Everyone,

Today’s project is part of a team blog hop where we have all used our shiny new products from Stampin’ Up!’s Annual Catalogue!

This one is terrific with some gorgeous stamp sets, bundles and full suites of products to choose from.

My project showcases product from the Magnolia Lane Suite. We had an enormous Magnolia in our front garden when I was a child and I always remember how stunning the flowers were.

The Designer Series Paper has been used as the background for my card. It is so lovely I wanted this to remain a feature.

The topper was kept small using the Stitched Rectangles dies. A larger layer was added by die cutting vellum, so the pattern could still be seen.

The white panel was stamped with a sentiment in black ink, and embellished using the small Magnolia image from the stamp set with Gray Granite ink.

Some silver thread was looped between the layers for some extra texture.

Pootlers Sale-a-bration Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Sale-a-bration edition of the Pootlers team blog hop.

Please click the blue button at the bottom of this post to carry on hopping through the other projects.

I have chosen to work with the Botanical Butterfly DSP and Part of my Story stamp set.

The black card base was covered using the small butterfly print design.

The black check sheet was cut down for the centre. The reverse of this sheet was then used to punch out the butterfly embellishments. These could be fussy cut too.

The sentiment was stamped simply in black ink.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Pootlers Spring Summer Blog Hop

Hello Everyone!

Today I am blog hopping with team mates showcasing the products from the Spring / Summer catalogue.

If you’ve not decided what to buy or need ideas for projects, this is the hop you need.

At the bottom of this post is a link to the other entries… Please do check them out!

I have resisted using this gorgeous stamp set especially for this hop. It’s called Wonderful Romance. I have also incorporated the stunning Speciality Designer Series Paper, this particular sheet is actually printed on to Vellum!

The main image was stamped in Stazon Ink. An aqua painter was used to watercolour the image, once dry this was die cut.

Dimensionals were used to adhere the die cut to the card base.

The sentiment was stamped with Shaded Spruce Ink, punched & mounted on to the lovely oval die cut from the same bundle.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Wishing you Well

Hello there Everyone,

Today I am joining the team in celebrating the release of the new Autumn Winter catalogue from Stampin’ Up!

There are are so many gorgeous things. I hope you are inspired to create something too.

Please click the blue button to see the rest of the blogs in the hop.

For my project I chose to use the Wishing You Well stamp set.

I teamed the stamp with the Country Lane Designer Series Paper. The colours then influenced how the main image was stamped.

I used an Old Olive card base. A 2-1/2 inch strip of Crushed Curry paper was added first, followed by a 4 inch square of Blackberry Bliss.

The main image was stamped on to Whisper White card stock using Old Olive and Blackberry Bliss inks.

The sentiment was mounted on to some Crushed Curry card stock and adhered with dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Thanks for stopping by today and happy Stampin’!

New Catalogue Blog Hop

Hi there Everyone,

Welcome to this special team blog hop celebrating the release of the new annual catalogue from Stampin’ Up! Click the blue button at the end if this post to see all the other creations!

My project features the Abstract Impressions stamp set and die bundle – so beautiful!

And this is what I have made, also using brand new colours too!

The card base is made with Granny Apple Green card stock. This was embossed with the large floral die – yes embossed! Stampin’ Up! now have embossing mats for the Big Shot – the possibilities are endless.

A piece of Whisper White card stock was used to stamp the florals. Granny Apple Green and Shaded Spruce make a great combination for the foliage. The wonderful new purple inks were used for the flowers themselves. The panel was added to some Gorgeous Grape card stock and then to the card base.

For some contrast I decided to use Mango Melody for the sentiment. This was die cut with a layering square framelit. This was adhered to a square of Gorgeous Grape card stock. I added this to the card with dimensionals.

Simply Amazing

Welcome to another Pootles Team blog hop! This time we are celebrating and showcasing the free products available during Stampin’ Up!’s Sale-a-bration event which is running now until the end of March.

There are lots of us taking part. A link to all the other blogs will be at the bottom of this post… Just click on the blue button.

My project features the Amazing You stamp set and Celebrate You dies.

I decided to use a simple black, white and silver colour scheme.

The background was created with the sunburst image from the stamp set. These were stamped with clear versamark ink and heat embossed with silver powder.

A Stamp-a-ma-jig helped me to line up the stamp to create a circular design.

The word “amazing” was die cut from black card stock and positioned on the card.

“You”, “are simply” and “to me” were all stamped with Memento ink on to a strip of Whisper White card stock and cut down to size.

These pieces were adhered to the card with Fast Fuse.

To complete the card, I also added a few rhinestone embellishments.

I hope you enjoyed this project.

On some Whisper White card stock, I stamped three candles with Lemon Lime Twist ink, adding the stripes with second generation Tranquil Tide ink.

The flames were stamped with Peekaboo Peach ink and the sentiment in black ink.

Some Lemon Lime Twist mini striped ribbon was ruffled along the bottom edge secured with Fast Fuse and mini glue dots.
