Inspire.Create #038

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to my blog. This is my entry for the Inspire.Create challenge.

This time it’s a sketch challenge. The design team have made some wonderful samples as inspiration. You can see them here

And this is my design…

I used a 2 inch strip of Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper and Whisper White card stock to make the card base.

A doily was due cut from vellum. This was adhered to some white card stock before adding to the card base with dimensionals.

The flowers were stamped using the Stamparatus tool. These were die cut and adhered with multipurpose glue.

Finally, the sentiment was cut using a Stitched Shape Framelit and enamel dots added.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

Thanks for stopping by today and happy Stampin’!

To Thank You

Hello Everyone,

For today’s card I used the Rooted in Nature stamp bundle.

A vellum layer was secured to a white card base.

Soft Sea Foam ink was used to stamp a tree on to another layer of white card stock. This was adhered to the card with dimensionals.

Two additional trees were stamped with Granny Apple Green ink and die cut.

The sentiment was stamped with Blackberry Bliss ink.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Project Share Project

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to this week’s Project Share. As always my friends have created some lovely work. Please use the links to visit their blogs and read more about their projects.

Heather has used the Bloom by Bloom stamp set to create this cute background. The narrow note cards work really well with this #simplestamping technique.

Gez has loved playing with this die set. This is such a great way to use this design. Wouldn’t you just love to receive this beautiful gift.

And this is my card…

I finally cracked open my Gingham Gala paper. I used this as the background for my design.

The Piece of Cake stamp set was used to build the image on to Whisper White card stock.

Stampin’ Blends were used to colour the image.

Gray Granite ink was used to stamp the sentiment. Some sequins completed the card.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Petal Passion with Calypso Coral

Hello Everyone,

Today’s project was inspired by some fabric.

I have replicated the design using the Petal Palette stamp set.

The main image was stamped with Smoky Slate and Tuxedo Black inks.

The flowers were “coloured” using the circle from Wood Words.

I added a die cut sentiment with dimensionals and embellished with Bitty Blooms, black gems and vellum leaves.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Beautiful Birthday

Hello Everyone,

I just love a sketch challenge…. They really help me to think about fresh card designs that I wouldn’t normally use. This one is from my lovely friend Gez.

The circle made want to use a Doily, though rather than using premade embellishments I made my own with the Painted Glass bundle.

I also wanted to use vellum in the design. I cut this down and rounded opposite corners.

I tried lots of different DSP designs to go behind the vellum. I settled on this black & white pattern from the Botanical Butterfly collection available in the Sale-a-bration offer.

I stamped the sentiment and die cut butterflies from the Painted Glass set.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.
