Inspire.Create.Challenge #090 – Home Decor!

Hello Everyone,

Today I’m sharing my contribution to the Inspire.Create challenge. Design Team!

This time it’s something a bit different. The rest of the design team have made some wonderful samples as inspiration. You can see them here.

Why not give it a go? We’d love to see your home decor creations!

My project isn’t a new idea, I’ve seen various versions online, but this is my spin on it using the Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper.

The paper strips measure 6 inches by 3/4 inch and secured with multipurpose glue.

The Playful Alphabet dies were perfectly sized to make the banner for the centre, making this a customisable gift for any occasion.

I made these versions with the Hydrangea Haven papers!

I hope you enjoyed this project.

This time it’s a fun and bright colour challenge. The rest of the design team have made some wonderful samples as inspiration. You can see them here. Why not give it a go? We’d love to see your creations!

My card creature the Floating and Fluttering stamp set and dies from the January to June Mini catalogue.

The use of a decorative mask for the background adds texture quickly and easily, especially with the blending brushes!

This design is very flexible and can be used for any occasion in just about any colour you want!

Ink Stamp Share Monthly Blog Hop – April Sketch Challenge

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to my blog and to this month’s Ink Stamp Share blog hop!

Everyone taking part is working with this sketch as a launch pad for their design.

A full list of participants is available at the bottom of this post or click the next button to move on to Tricia’s blog….

Here’s my take on this sketch. As ever, I prefer to work in portrait mode.

I have used the Lots of Heart stamp set and the Artistry Blooms Designer Series Paper.

The card stock and ink colours are chosen from the Designer Series Paper. In this example, Rich Razzleberry and Night of Navy.

Banner ends were cut with the Tailored Tag Punch. Stampin’ Blends were used to colour basic rhinestones to match the rest of the card.

This was my original sample using a different piece of the same DSP pack.

Don’t forget to carry on hopping using the next button or the roll call list!
