Stencilled Snowflakes

Good Morning,

With the chilly morning we have been having, I thought I would use the Beautiful Blizzard bundle today.

The card is inspired by a project that we made at our recent team retreat curtesy of the lovely Heidi.

The main panel has made use of the “waste” from the cutting die as, a stencil.

I gently stippled ink over the portions I wanted using a sponge dauber. It didn’t matter to me that the edges weren’t perfect, it all added to the effect.

Once I was happy with the result, I adhered this to a Pool Party card which already has a white layer attached.

The sentiment was added simply at the bottom of the card and a few sequins completed the design.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Thanks for stopping by today and happy Stampin’!

Inspire.Create #027

This week marks the first anniversary of the amazing Inspire.Create challenge blog!

Congratulations to Hannah McCurley for making it all happen.

So the theme challenge is……

You can see what the design team have made here! Why don’t you join in too?

I have created a bright congratulations card featuring Petal Palette and the Buffalo Check background.

The check was stamped with Lemon Lime Twist ink and cut down to size… (I didn’t measure it). I also cut a piece of white card stock and stamped the leaves. This was added to a Lovely Lipstick card base.

The flowers were watercoloured with Lemon Lime Twist and Lovely Lipstick inks before Die Cutting. These were adhered with dimensionals.

The sentiment was tucked in to the flowers also using dimensional adhesive.

A few artisan pearls completed the card.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Hi Everyone,

For today’s project I thought I would use the Making Christmas Bright stamp & punch bundle.

On a Whisper White card layer I stamped the circular motif with versamark and heat embossed with white powder. Balmy Blue ink was sponged over the top.

The sentiment was added with Smoky Slate ink. The layer was mounted on to a white card base with dimensionals.

The bulbs were stamped on to each of the 2018 in colour card stocks with versamark, embossed with clear powder and punch out. The fixings were punched from Basic Gray card stock.

Silver baker’s twine was adhered to the card base with Multipurpose glue. The light bulbs were added with dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Merry Christmas To You

Good Morning Everybody,

Today’s card is a C. A. S. E of a card from The Creative Watermelon. You can see her original design here.

I really liked the watercoloured circle of Kaylee’s card. For my version, I used the Emboss resist technique.

The light bulbs from the Making Christmas Bright stamp set was stamped with clear versamark ink and heat embossed with clear powder.

Ink was pressed on to an acrylic block and added over the top of the embossing.

A white card layer Die cut with a layering circle die. The watercoloured piece was adhered behind the aperture and added to a Real Red card base.

Black card stock was die cut with an adhesive sheet on the back. The word could then be adhered straight on to the card.

The rest of the sentiment was heat embossed in white and then adhered with dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Project Share Project

Hi Everyone,

It’s been another wonderfully creative week… I am being a bit cheeky and showing four projects today.

I spent last weekend with all these lovely ladies at our team retreat so I wanted to give them all a shout out!

First up is this sponged card from Heidi. This technique allows for more control when creating backgrounds.

See more on Heidi’s blog here.

Helzie was kind enough to be my chauffeur. Here is a card showing how to use stamps in different ways.

The lovely Jill has used the embossing mats with a Die to add texture to the card.

And then Angelina has used lovely purples to make her card with Designer Series Paper.

I hope you enjoyed these projects.

Blooms for You #GDP156

Good Morning!

Wednesday means a Global Design Project entry. This week the challenge is to Case the Designer…. See what the design team have made here

I have made this card featuring the Petal Burst embossing folder and Perennial Birthday stamp set.

I kept the embossed background opting for the Petal Burst folder, though any design would fit with this project. This was adhered on to a Fresh Fig card layer and then to a Whisper White card base.

The sentiment was added next. This was stamped with Lemon Lime Twist ink.

Flowers were stamped in Berry Burst & Fresh Fig ink and punched out. Leaves were punched from Lemon Lime Twist card stock.

A bow was tied from Fresh Fig Ruffled ribbon.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.
